By testing a new and likely easier way for adolescents to track their symptoms, this research study aims to map behavioral patterns of adolescents with IBD to create insights that – long term – have the potential to predict and prevent future flares.
The data collected is key to understanding the behavior patterns of those living with IBD. The more data that’s collected, the more accurate and helpful the Ginger.io system becomes. This means that your participation can help other people like you.
Participants in the study have the opportunity to earn financial compensation for completing short surveys and participating in feedback interviews.
You’ll complete brief surveys on your mobile phone. The Ginger.io app will analyze your movement and communication patterns, and the researchers will test the relationship between your survey responses and activity patterns. You’ll be able to see the results of your survey data on a regular basis.
