Online Mental Health Coach

Work From Home, Part-time and Full-time available. Nationwide, United States.

Ginger.io offers support, guidance, therapy, and medication support from professional coaches, licensed therapists, and psychiatrists, respectively. Based on the needs of the individual, we create a custom plan that addresses these needs and grows with them. Plans are supplemented with exercises, self-care, tips and education that help the individual cope, build resiliency and above all, thrive.

    The Role

    As a Ginger.io Health Coach, you will help people learn how to live healthier lives. Each day, hundreds of people will download the Ginger.io app, looking for help in discovering the personal strengths, motivations and skills that will enable them to make lasting changes in their mindsets and behaviors.

    Over time, coaches assist our members in taking slow, steady steps that lead to meaningful change in their lives. They check-in regularly to offer support and encouragement, track successes and setbacks, and provide resources, tips and strategies to facilitate progress.

    Coaches are an integral part of of each member’s multidisciplinary care team. They use previous clinical experience, good judgment, and our guidelines to discern when to refer members to other internal or external resources. You will collaborate with our psychiatrists and therapists to help develop and reinforce treatment decisions, as appropriate.

    Input from Ginger.io Coaches is also essential to informing our overall company strategy. By being on the front lines, you’ll be providing feedback on what works, what doesn’t, and play an instrumental role in turning the Ginger.io mission into reality.

    Our coaches benefit from regular supervision and consultation with team members. This includes weekly team trainings focused on skills development and protocol procedures, process group to support coach resilience, and 1:1 mentorship to discuss cases and feedback. Biannual in-person trainings at our headquarters in San Francisco allows connection as a team and opportunity to continuously grow your coaching skills.

Senior Manager FP&A

Ginger.io is looking for a Senior Manager of FP&A to lead our financial operations. In this role, you will act as right hand to the CFO and drive strategic planning, financial planning, business modeling, forecasting and management reporting activities. You will also be responsible for leading a small outside team and building out an internal team in the future.

Our proprietary app delivers clinically validated self care content, along with 24-hour access to chat with coaches and video appointments with professionally licensed therapists and psychiatrists. This virtual mental health network provides high-quality emotional support to employees, while reducing medical spend for employers and payers.

Ginger.io is experiencing high-growth and is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations and Support to manage Credentialing, Scheduling, Member Support, Clinical Tools/ Infrastructure, and Revenue Cycle Management. This includes the implementation and execution of business strategies through operations and the expansion of our collaborative care model. This individual will oversee, lead, and manage the team responsible for servicing members, optimizing revenue collections and continually improving operations workflows.

Essential Functions:

Leadership

  • Develop and establish standard operating procedures consistent with overall policies and objectives and ensure appropriate execution to support the Ginger.io mission

Member Support

  • Recruit and retain top-notch clinical operations and support staff and assist with setting up staffing patterns and standards to balance member support, clinician, and member needs

  • Work to ensure an exceptional member experience from onboarding to referral to a clinical provider to complaint handling and beyond

  • Run QA process to ensure that members are receiving highest quality of support

Credentialing

  • Strategize on network design and development and clinician contracting

  • Negotiate agreements and develop relationships with payers in regard to rates, contract terms, and collaborative efforts

  • Provide primary source verification and credentialing practices in compliance with standards, regulations and medical staff bylaws

Scheduling

  • In collaboration with Data Science team, work to identify scalable solutions that map clinician availability and clinical demand, in order to manage capacity

Clinical Tools/Infrastructure

  • Identify and implement staffing and software solutions to support clinical expansion and optimize complex workflows

  • Track and monitor utilization of tools and adherence to protocols as part of change management and ongoing QA

Revenue Cycle Management

  • Create strategic and related tactical plan, to ensure reimbursement and billing services fully support our revenue goals

  • Establish service expectations and measurement standards for billing partner, including key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure they are meeting expectations

Qualifications:
